As I mentioned in my earlier post this morning, I've been working on games to help nurses learn more about financial management. Over the last couple of years, I've seen more and more research regarding the value of games in learning. The games are in a wiki I developed:

So Much Has Been Happening!
I'm embarrassed at how long it's been since I last posted. The health reform debate is still not over. The federal, state and local deficits and budget concerns are only getting worse. Environmental disasters and lifestyle issues such as obesity pose more questions and concerns about people's health.
I'm going to try to get back and post on topics for nurse executives--and for nurses who'd like to learn about executive thinking. I continue to teach healthcare financial management. In addition, I'm working on games for educating nurses about financial concepts.
